Trail Description:
This is a fairly short ride, but extremely handy for those in Tallahassee. You don't have to leave town to get a decent workout.
How to get there:
At the corner of Magnolia Rd. and Park Av. there is a supermarket, and behind it a wooden fence. Look for a gap in the fence and that’s the entrance. The trail is short but it can connect with the Tom Brown Park and its trails. Not a loop so you decide when to turn back.

It is a shame that the first section got taken away it was a great downhill run to get you going to Tom Brown.

It's still fun and a good trail for warm-up. It also helps for a conection trail.

The Trail beginning behind The Albertson's is now closed due to construction on Park Avenue. The closest riding area is Tom Brown Park.

It is not as good as it used to be. We now have just what we needed in Tallahassee-more shopping. The first leg of the fern trail, behind the Winn Dixie is gone. This is sad as there were some nice climbs there and beautiful trees. Now we have more generic, same-as-everywhere-else stores such as Michael's and Bed, Bath and Beyond. All is not lost as there is another branch that starts behind the Albertson's Supermarket that has some good climbs/descents and jumps. This connects up with the rest of the Fern Trail that joins across Park Avenue.
