Trail Description:
Trail is laid out sort of like a cloverleaf to enable riders to re-ride or cut short their ride as they see fit. The riding is very challenging but rideable with numerous rock gardens, drop-offs, ledges, skirting the edges of cliffs(be careful),mountain views, tough technical climbs/descents and loads of tight, twisty singletrack. New trails being built regularly. Most first time visitors to the park ride the trail in a clockwise direction. Orange blazes designate the main trail, white blazes designate side trails which reconnect to the main trail, very easy to follow.

How to get there:
From intersection Rt.247 & Rt.106,take Rt. 106 east one mile, turn right, park entrance one-half mile one left. Trailhead is located one-quarter mile to left of paved parking lot, look behind storage shed.

Additional Notes:
Note park hours as they vary by season. Gate at park entrance is locked at night with no way to get out

The trail was EXCELLENT, stopped here on the way back to Toronto and didn't have enough time to ride it all...The trail is tons of fun and very technical in parts. HR280 was a highlight with an excellent view [of carbondale] if you trek it too the top. I suggest taking every blue trail you come across untill you can go no more then just cruise back home to along the reds. If not a local i'd say set aside a day for this trail so you can stop at points and relax and take it in. We didn't see a single other rider so come prepared with a spare tube aswell, we needed one!

Great riding and fantastic views. Found a really nice motel half a mile away at Orazzi's Blue Ridge Inn. Golfing nearby as well. Big fun.
