i live in Boulder and i ride this trail several times a week. who cares about singletrack, this trail rocks! i don't even bother with the loop anymore, i just do repeats up and down the garden. if i want to climb on non-techy stuff i'll ride one of a dozen other trails around town. this trail is great fun on a single speed hardtail with the right gearing. it takes a while but you can ride the entire thing without clipping out.

This trail is awesome, i loved riding this trail, i have riden it 3 times and it is way cool, Going back down is the funnest, but be careful, there are some tricky parts

MAke sure you burn one at the top of the loop at the old cabin

This trail isn't all that. I will admit the downhill is fast but the trail is to damn wide. This is partly due to Boulder Co. making it that way but the sad thing is that I've encountered to many riders who instead of pulling over ride off the trail. If you do this you are a I DIOT (THEY WON"T LET ME USE THE WORD I DIOT)and should sell your bike! Take the loop clockwise for killer views of Longs and Mount Meeker.

Fun stuff! If you are from out of state, as I was when I first rode Hall Ranch, make sure you are fully acclamated to the altitude before riding here. If it were not for the people I would have surely left more of my lungs on some of the burly/technical switchbacks. Now that I live here, this is still a favorite springtime "get back i

Fun ride with a mix of technical sections and fast single and double track. It gets crowded so watch out for hikers. The earlier you ride the better off you are.

Hall Ranch is a blast. Although the entire trail is double track, it is quite entertaining. Please note - although the trail is relatively short and the elevation gain is fairly small, there are a lot of demanding technical sections. Also take into consideration the large crowds oresent on weekends.
