Trail Description:
Two loops with a connector trail .The short loop is moderate and the long is advanced. Lots of rock to challenge your technical ability. Not a trail for a rigid bike.
How to get there:
I-40 on the east side of Nashville. Take Stewart's Ferry Pk. exit. Head south. The road becomes Bell Road. Stay south bound until you see the Hamilton Creek sign then turn left.

Great ride! But not for beginners to mountain biking.A huge amount of rock.A lot of drop offs and big ledges.Long and difficult climbs.Great rock gardens. But be careful, its easy to tear up your bike in many areas.Try walking on the road for 2 miles.

Nice ride. My wife and I live in Greenville, SC and wish we had a trail like this one. Nice mix of obstacles and the long rock climb is great in the advanced area. You will enjoy this trail.

A lot of hard work has gone into these trails. They are as technical as you make them. The intermediate trail is a good trail to learn on. The Pinnacle is more advanced. There is continunce work on the trail. I am 51 yrs. and I love to ride when I can, both trails will give what you want. If you need help, there is always someone around to lend a hand. The keepers of the creek are very good riders. They will not Steer you wrong. Remember" Where the parking lot ends" ,"The fun begins", ICEMAN

I'm from murfreesboro, just outside of nashville 20 mins or so and i have to say this is the best set of trails in the area.we rode the intermediate loop fairly quickly and then started on the advanced along the way we met these guys who maintained the trail and were adding new obstacles for double drops etc.they were really cool and are responsible for maintaining the trail. We rode with one of the guys in their group up the end of the 3rd mile marker (right before the forth on the hellish uphill climb over the rock lines). This was by far the hardest set of obstacles on the trail. The 54y/o man smoked us up the trail and was offering pointers but i wasn't in this guys league and found myself spinning out on rocks casing my chest on my handlebars. Over all this was a great ride. Like i said the best in the area. We got their at like 12:30 and rode the intermediate loop and the advanced loop and it was around 6:00 when we finished. My legs and lower back are killing me b

It is a great trail, definately technical, not going to be flying on this trail. It's just 5 mins from my apt and definately worth the ride to and fro plus the trail is fairly well maintained.

First...ride this trail! It is amazing. I you're a beginner, ride the short loop a few times until you feel good about the rocks, roots, climbs, and descents. The short loop is about 2.5 miles.
Once you move on to the advanced loop, be ready to be a bit tired when you're finished!! But you'll love it. This loop is about 8.5 miles, and I'd say it's just a lot more of the same things you'll find on the short loop.
