Ride Summary:
Collection of singletrack trails just outside Launa Beach.

Trail Description:
This ride starts at the top of the ridge then offers a variety of options to scream down the hill into the canyon to Wood Canyon Trail. As you're flying down the trail rocks, bumps and ruts await to challenge your skills. Once at the bottom there are several good climbs with some areas that may require a hike-a-bike.

How to get there:
From Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, turn east on Legion. This turns into Park Ave. within a few blocks. Keep heading up into the hills until you hit Alta Laguna Blvd. Turn left and park at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Pros on downhill rigs? Bah! We used to ride down Telonics on hardtails with V-brakes way back in the summer of '98! And break stuff a lot, I seem to remember...

The single track rating is misleading for this ride. In order to hit these trails, one must venture first on a fire road along a ridge. From here there are many trails that peel off ranging from fire road through reverted fire road, all the way down to our beloved single track. Still great riding, but I would suggest going on the week day to miss the Disneyland atmosphere on the weekends.
