Trail Description:
The trail begins with a steep and winding decent which leads to a myriad of side trails to choose from. You can descend into the golf course driving range, ride next to cliffs overlooking Latah Creek, or choose trails that head south along the bluff. Rocky at times, sandy in places, but overall, a great place to be any day. The only thing that sucks is the climb out of the pit.

How to get there:
There are many places you can begin this trail, however the best place is on the corner of Bernard and High Drive. There is a little side place to park that overlooks the bluff. Coming off of I-90, take the Maple Street Exit and head up the hill going South. This will eventually turn into High Drive. Look for Bernard and you are on your way! Yee-haw! Seattle, eat your heart out. This trail is five minutes from my house!!!

Well, I'd have to say the best place to enter the trail is at 57th and High Drive (near the Luna restaurant), that way you can actually ride the entire trail. From there, it drops you down a fairly long and interesting bulldozed double track trail,(FUN)transitioning into luscious bushy/forest tunneled trails and finally into the beginning of the bluff trails. You'll want some knobby square profiled tires to avoid sliding in some of the more sandy terrains though.

Good singletrack loop for backyard ride. However can be crowded with walkers and runners on weekends.

Not a bad ride for a workout, nothing over technical but fast. Do the whole loop for a good 60 minute workout.

If You go up maple st. in spokane South up the hill and then turn right onto 14th st. you can enter from the bottom/base of the trail system and climb up and in on the sidehills and then when your done it is a sweet descent back down to 14th st. and your car. There is a small neighborhood park located here with restrooms and play toys for tauts. Trail starts here and heads South and along the sidehill up to the bernard and highdrive entrance. Fun if you don't mind some serious singletrack on steep sidehills.
