Trail Description:
Aston Hill has a famous namesake - Aston Martin. The luxury sports car company’s founder, used to race up the hill to demonstrate the cars power and finesse. Now Aston Hill is making a name for itself as the home of one of the South's premier Mountain Bike Areas. Covering over 100 acres of woodland set aside by the Forestry Commission specifically for the use of mountain bikers.
There is a great mix of trails all waymarked using the ski grading system of Blue, Red and Black.
There are 2 downhills a Duel course and a Cross Country Circuit. The downhills are steep and technical with an XC circuit that has plenty of single track and testing downhills and climbs.
How to get there:
Aston Hill Mountain Bike Area situated 5 miles south of Aylesbury in the Chiltern Hills. 30 minutes drive from the M40 and M1 and approximately 45 mins. from Central London.

I ride this trail regularly and am a member of the club here too, this is a damn good trail and is well worth the trip, there are also several other class longer rides in the surrounding area so a day to Aston Hill is a day well spent.Oh and get your climbing legs on as the hills here are tough - but rideable.
