Whaleback Mtn Race Trail

Trail Description:
This is a relatively flat trail, it's usually dry, with the exception of one part that's always

muddy unless it hasn't rained in two weeks. If you follow the bits of orange tape, you

shouldn't get lost. Takes about 30 minutes on average to ride one loop.

How to get there:
In Stephenville turn onto Dump Road. It can't be missed.

"If I was on the Train mentioned" The Trail has some climbing, at the beginning. It's very rough and wet in places, which makes for slow going at times. Lots of moose sign. There is one spot where you have to stop and look, it is a great view of the entire Stephenville area. I think it will be better as the summer goes on. I will make this a regular monthly ride.
