Trail Description:
Bike hightway 30 west bound as if going to Astoria,Oregon. Cross the Sauvie Island Bridge and Loop the Island as many times as you wish. Go down to Social Security Beach on Reeder Road. Head back to Highway 30 and make a right and head to scappoose to Johnson Crossing to Dike Road and the to Honenyman Road and Head North and Bike to Scappoose Airport. Go back to Highway 30 to St. Helens and turn on Sykes Road and come the Sauser Road then on to Yankton Double back to Hazen Road to Fullertion Road Back to Highway 30 again. and go East bound to Portlalnd. This is all country roads.

How to get there:
If you live in Portland,go the NW industrial and Go out on St.Helens Road to Hight way 30 and go under the St. Johns Bridge and go thro Linnton Oregon. Then on to Sauvie Island

Additional Notes:
There is no WATER on Sauvies Isl. There abundance of wildlifte and scenery.

If you drive to the far north side of the island to the end of reeder road, there is a trail. you can follow the beach to the old light house. it's about 4 miles r/t but a nice ride.

This is only good for road bikes. You'll waste your time if you ride this on your mtn. bike.

This is not a trail ride! These are roads and highways. Yes they are nice for a road ride. But this is for trails, not roads.
