Speaking as a beginner, not a beginner trail. Unless beginners are suppose to experience major trail rash first thing? :) I would be terrified to see an advanced trail...yikes! I thoroughly enjoyed it though and was proud when I finished. I would ride it again but it's not beginner!

First trail after a 7 year break from riding at all. I took my new Specialized M5 Comp HT and hit it....or it hit me. Great ride and look forward to riding it again. After getting familiar with the new bike I am sure the ride will be even more fun. Great workout but not a beginner trail. Pay attention and have fun!!!

This is a bit of a challenge for a beginner, but if you are in decent shape it's a great work out. Some of the long steady climbs in open fields seem to kick my butt the most. Some great twist and turns and plenty of areas to bail if you get tired.

Man, I borrowed my buddys full suspension Klein...
This was my first trail, I went with two friends who
are intermediate... I am a beginner and I took all 8
amazing miles, but only because I had my 2 friends
teaching me as I went... I highly reccomend this
trail, and it's free

This trail is actually 8.1 miles with all sections. I live nearby and ride this trail regularly and it is a medium difficulty trail with a tough extreme section. Trails are mostly hardpack and smooth with roots and few rocks. Lots of twists and turns with a balance between climbing and decending.

This is defintely not a beginner trail. It has some wicked turns and some good jumps. Overall, it is a good trail to ride. It will defintely give you a workout.

Great trail and definitely not a beginner trail. Offers something for every skill level. The main road surrounds the entire trail so if at any point you wish to bail out its there for you. The meadows wear you out after a while with the sun beating down on your face while you ride half a mile to get to a point only 10ft away. very compact and busy trail, but still a great ride!

Rode this for the first time today. Had a great time and have the trail rash to prove it. I would aggree that it is not a beginners trail. But every "technical drop" has an alternitive that although will take some intermidiate skill will be manageble. Lot of long (but not terrible steep) winding climbs in the open areas but the pay off down hill is worth it. Plenty of logs to willie over and trees to negotiate. be careful coming into wooded areas from the open always seems to be a suprise.

If this is a beginner's trail, I'd love to see an advanced to intermediate! Great trail ride with little room for error, tremendous fun. I went on 12/11 and although it had been dry in the area for 4 days or so, there were still some deep, muddy spots.
