The cost to park at the boat ramp is now $10. The trail is in great shape right now, and the marina is not on the other side of the lake, just around a point in the lake. We measured it at 3 1/2 miles one way.

This is an ok trail. I gave it 4/5 for the fact that it is about a ½ drive from my house in Clovis. It is well maintained, does not change in elevation, and is not technical at all, wich makes it good for beginners new to single track. There are 2 to 3 semi technical spots but they are all very short and can easally be walked. The trail is deffinetlly not 14 miles long, but if your looking for a "quick fix" or are new than check it out. I posted some pics at the top. The rocky area is probablly the most "technical" spot.

This trail is actually about 7.5 miles. The entrance fee is $7.00. It is really good for beginners, but not young children due to the shear drop off next to the trail in spots. Very nice, well maintained trail, with a few technicals spots.

This is definately a beginners trail. While there are a few mildly technical sections on the trail there was very little climbing. The trail also stops at the marina where it formerly continued on. It is no where near 14 miles. There is a better trail at the end of Sky Harbor Road. Start on the right side at the whilte gate. The trail continues for around 14 or so miles. Blue Oak Trail is a great trail for beginners and recreational riders.

At the end of this trail, just past the marina, is another one that continues around the lake. It is more technical and appears less maintained (lots of huge ruts). To get there, just bike across the marina parking lot, up toward the Sky Harbor tollbooth. The continuing trail starts to the left of the road leading up to the tollbooth. It is marked for horses, but bikes are always on it. The rangers don't mind so long as you ride sensibly.

He didn't bother telling you that the only time you should ride this is during winter. Unless you like Triple digits in the summertime.
