Trail Description:
This Trail is a fun flat course with very technical bridges and log crossings. This trail is on the San Jacinto River and it has many gullies to keep you occupied. This trail is very ridable for skill levels of all kinds because if you do not want to do the technical bridges then you can just walk over them. All the bridges out there are ridable though.
How to get there:
Take 59 North and go 2 or 3 exits after Humble to the Kingwood Dr. exit. Take Kingwood Dr. about 8 miles until it comes to an end. Kingwood Dr. turns into the dirt road that leads to East End Park.
Additional Notes:
Just go past the metal gate and follow the pink arrows.

It has been a while since my last ride there, but from what I remember I had a great experience. Not as technical as most trails but there were plenty of bridges and scenery changes to keep my mind busy.
Great workout! but watch out for thin pine trees. they'll getcha! hah

We went to east end on 1/3/06. Most of the old trails are grown over, but they do have about 8 miles of single track, the parks and recs were out there building some decent bridges, so check it out in a month or so for a very tame but nice family type trail.

I guess i was too late for the good stuff. people are paving the hard parts into flat gravel or sand paths. this trail has been tamed.

East end is a pretty short, non-technical trail. Better for taking a jog than looking for a great ride.

i rode this trail yesterday (12-21-01), and it was very wet, but so much fun. did a 41/2 hour on it with 6 other people. Some of the bridges are not in the best condition, anbd people arent crossing them, maiking some of the trails overgrown. Bridges need to be fixed so we can ride all the land out there. if it was dry, the trails would be good for high speeds, and i loved the 2x6's that went of the water and logs. and i liked the few little jumps. overall, i loved it.
