Trail Description:
One nasty trail, Drops can exceed 10 feet and ladder bridges are every were, wear
armor and a full face. Be prepared for your bike to need some maintenance after this
ride. bring a camera if your thinking of atempting any of the sick stuff, be warned it
will scare you. riding up this trail is unthinkable, be preperd to hike. When you get
to the rocks at the summit and go down the same trail you hiked up theres a small
ladder bridge with a small 3.5 foot drop, continuing on the trail theres an up and over
bridge, carry speed up and lean back on the back side. after a sort slippery climb
you'll come to a fork,if you take the fork you'll get to the real stuff. Back on the original
trail you'll go down an easy but fun descent, then you'll get to some scary stuff if you
ride the bridge with chainrings nailed to it you'll have to ride a narrow bridge and eventually
a 7 foot drop, be warned after the 7 foot drop theres no time to stop before a 6 foot drop that
requires you to clear a log, so don't slow down after the 7. If you don't take the chain ring bridge
you'll have to get over a small log and continue to a large log, turn so you go down the log
and shoot for a very steep but wide bridge, warning pull a manual off the top. the steep but wide brigde
then links with the 6 foot drop. continuing youl get to a fork that leads to a log shoot that links with the
trail later on. on the original trail theres a 3 foot drop or a steep ramp it depends on weather the removable
bridge is there or not. theres a bridge that is fun to place your bike on and ride down but is almost unridable
to get up. Behind the bridge that is almost impossible to get up theres a very fun log shoot that leads to nowere
but is fun to ride. Back on the original trail theres a fun descent and two more fun little drops then an almost insane jump
that clears a river its 6 ffeet high and 8 feet wide (jump is optional) then the trail ends. If you take the first fork you get on
a trail known as Owens, Drews and Bens trail, you'll know your at the place if you see a sign nailed to a tree that says heater time. this trail starts
with a chunky rockface that has a small bridge over a gap, right after it theres a 4 foot drop and within 30 feet the start of the
handicap section (called this because it can make you handicapped), this section starts with a 10- 15 foot drop depending on
the speed that cruises to a 10 foot drop after it. After the second drop in the handicap section theres a bridge that takes you on
to log that ends with an 8 foot drop and after the 8 theres a 6 foot drop that sets you up nice for a 40 foot log shoot that ends with a
5 foot drop, after the 40 foot shoot theres a sick 9 foot drop and a jump after it. this pretty well ends this trail except for a few little
jumps then it links with the first trail.
How to get there:
Ask the kind people a Pacific Rim Bicycle (look them up in a Nanaimo area phone book)

Hey trail critics, your comments are very useful, exept that your spelling and grammer is so horrible, that at times your message is everything BUT clear!!!

I have been on this endless search for the secret spot; first seen in the Nissan Exterra commercial and then on NW Backroads. Tell is this the location? Photographer looking for some killer shots and the secret is safe. IF you know the answer please E-mail: SkinEp
