Trail Description:
Supertree is one loop of this system. It consists of gravel road which leads to great single track through the pines. Some logs to hop, water to cross, and fast downhills. Keeowee begins and ends technical and only lets up so one can get ready for the next revalation of granite rock, deep creeks, and screamin' descents. Best when dry, very rocky, but thats the thrill of it. Not for novices or young kids. Bring bandages!
How to get there:
Hwy 220 to Troy, then go 8 mi. west on 24-27 to the Woodrun Trails parking lot on left. Or take 109 from Wadesboro, North to 24-24, turn left (West) go 6 mi. to the Woodrun Trails parking lot.
Additional Notes:
No facilities, it is designated as wilderness. It is in the Uhwarrie National Forest. Beautiful!

I would ride these for a challenging 1-2 hour ride while traveling between Myrtle Beach and Winston-Salem. The climbs are long enough to give you a good workout and sporadically some rewarding views exist. The downhills can be exhilirating but stay focused. These trails are nice. I'm from Myrtle Beach and its flat so I was hurting on the climbs. Descents are unreal. Keeowee has a lot of roots and rocks-pretty challenging with a stiff hardtail. Supertree was fun and fairly easy. Only downside is no camping facilities within riding distance.

This was my first time riding anywhere. My girlfriend and I rode Supertree. It is great for beginners because you can go as slow as you need. Plan to go back in a week.

These trails rock!! Espescially Keeowee trail. I am an experienced rider and had a blast. Fun at what ever level you are at. The trails can be made more technical at the higher speeds. Great views!

Trails are wide and not too technical. Fast downhills and beautiful scenery. Challenging for average riders, but still fun for the more experienced.
