Los Tres Picos Loop

Trail Description:
Loose and rocky jeep roads interconnect three singletrack loops. Mix and match for maximum pleasure. Steady climbing with a hefty elevation gain, provides awesome views of the valley floor surrounded by high limestone cliffs. The terrain is high mountain desert, bring your slime tubes for there are lots of prickly cactus and palm trees.

How to get there:
Trails are located in El Potrero Chico National Park, 45 minutes Northwest of Monterrey Mexico. Go to Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon and follow the signs for the park. Maps and guided trips are available at Rancho Cerro Gordo located at the mouth of the canyon. They have a campground $3/night and fully furnished rental houses. for
