Sprcue bog is a good technical trail. The people b*tching about the trails in Grafton dont know them. Graftons trails connect to other trails that will take for miles and miles.

grafton has some awesome trails...and at the same time so not so great ones. spruce bog is a really good trail, but it can puddle up easily. grafton also has the grafton lakes off-road triathlon, a nissan xterra event. here is the course; start with a 1.5 k open water swim in long pond. then on your bike take mill pond trail to spruce bog. right on to chet bell and then on to the RPI trail. at the first gate of the RPI trail on the left is newly added little johnny's trail; take it. two loops around shaver pond and your done with your app 12 mile bike. from the beach begin your run. start on the side that does not have water tower trail becasue this is not part of the race. when you come across fire tower trail go up it until you reach chet bell. at this time loop back down fire tower and resume around long pond. grafton has awesome trails and its an awesome park. these trails are much better than the ones at skidmore and the

I went to Grafton for the first time this summer. I really like it. Now, I should also say that I come from MOnroe county where riding on dirt is f'n outlawed and that I am basically a newbie. There were many places where water was pooled up, or that were rutted from Atv or simple over use. I have a hardtail, hydro's, and Kenda Kinetics on my piece. My brother also has a hardtail, and hydros, but his wheels are thinner and his tires have less tred. And ya know what? All he did was bitch the entire time. So to all who have crap-ass tires-- shut the hell up and go ride the canal. Your welcome, Drew.

Grafton is excellent training trails. certainly not gut checking single track but the terrain is rolling double track with a nice mix of short steep climbs followed by quick curving downhills. Look for air off little rock drops. The drop into Pittstown, if ridden correctly is fast and fun. These trails due loop together and thier is access to much, much more riding. Ghostrider rips Grafton on weekday evenings starting from the Shaver Pond nature parking lot.6pm-dark and sometimes after dark

I have biked here quire a few times. First, it is not long enough. The trails only go for a couple of miles. Second, the are not technical enough. The bottom line, if you want to warm your legs up and get a little fresh air, then go here.

The trails here are by no means technical!!! Come on!! Go up to somewhere like Skidmore if ya want sweet singletrack and technical trails. Spruce Bog is a cool trail. It is pretty tore up and the singletrack is for the most part a 2 lane highway now. The H2O Tower trail is very cool but only .5 miles long. WAY too short. The trails into Pitts S.F. are ok if you like riding fire roads. They are rocky at times but mostly boring. Don't take a day off just to ride here. You'll be sorry. If you want "worthy" trail riding go the xtra distance someplace else. If you like fire roads, have your lunch hour to kill and and just learning how to ride ... go to Grafton. You can catch up with Dr. D_ck and he'll show you around.

The spruce bog is one of the most difficult trails to ride in Grafton. Its even better after a good rain fall try it you'll like. If you can't trust the Doctor who can you trust. Dr. D

I biked here this past weekend. This place is over run with ATV's even though they aren't allowed in the park. The trails s_ck and no one seems to care about the problem at hand. The park had some decent trails but they're mostly short and don't loop together. Besides their ATV trails now.Ride some place else.
