Trail Description:
Third is a twisty singletrack trail with lots of good technical drops and some man-made stunts. There is more than one way to approach the drops so look before you leap. The only downside to the trail is the amount of loose rock on some sections of the trail.

How to get there:
Go to the top of Mountain Hwy in North Vancouver. Park your vehicle and ride past the yellow gate and up the gravel road. The trail head is located at the third switchback. Walk through the ditch and take the trail on your right.

Additional Notes:
The trail might be known by other names but is most commonly known as "Third".

I saw the entrance to this trail, but my group never rode it. What is on the trail? Any man made stuff? Is it steep or technical? I only give the trail a 1 rating because ive never ridden it. Any info would be appreciated.

The trail of the third switch back is known as the Kirkford, the third only refers to the switch back and nothing else.
