Trail Description:
Excellent trail for advanced and intermediate riders. You will never get the same ride twice. There are always trails going off in all directions. Some stay pretty tame, while others will make you wonder what you are really doing on this trail. The park consists of steep climbs and drops as well has very tight switch backs at a very steep angle. Some parts of the park also offer sand. Best trails I have ever been on.

How to get there:
Take 465 to 37s on the south side of indy. Right on Southport Rd. Left onto Mann Rd. Park is up on the left.

Your post had offered me with another point of view on this subject. I had limited knowledge that things can work in this manner as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Leather furniture in Atlanta

The Indiana Mountain bike Assn. is getting bikes back in there. I am close enough (3 miles) to ride there and back. It will be nice to be able to ride there again!!!

SH*T...i was just about to drive out there!

I believe Westway trails have been closed down to MTB riders!!! Sorry for the bad news!!!

Apparently IndyParks has prohibited biking at this park, as of March 2003. Signs are posted at trailheads banning mountain bikes. I guess some folks are still riding in spite of the ban, but don't drive all the way out there just to be disappointed by this change of policy. Too bad, the trails sounded fun.

First trail that i have rode. Very good trail little challanging. Steep hills and alot of roots. I dont think that the track is good for a first time rider but i did it anyway.

"Watch out for the roots." This is a good trail for all levels. The downhills go from slow and easy at the bottom to down rite vicious at the top. If you don't watch the roots on the downhills your gonna need a first aid kit. This trail is awesome for hard runs early on and then cruisin some flat ones before you go home.

This is probably nopt the most challenging trail in the world, but if you're not a pro racer you'll probably love it, just like I do. You have two choices, really: go low by the rivier or go high along the top of the ridge. To go high, head to the south trail entrance, which is on the right hand side of the parking area as you face the woods. To go low, head to the norht entrance on the left.if you go with the high route, which is the hardest, then takes it easy the first time through. There are a few spots where you could die (no joke) or seriously injure yourself. All in all, a real blast and seemingly endless routes to take.
