really good trail close to home. if you take the trail straight uphill(on the right) alongside 44 its wicked downhill but a steep climb to get there. the left trail is very scenic with some sick sections as well. bring the dig cam i almost hit deer today.

I had not been to this park since I was a little kid. Stopped by the other day to ride and was given the stern warning that biking of any kind is "strictly prohibited". I found it amusing that the map and sign said to inquire at the info center about biking. The desk told me there was none and could not recommend any nearby place to do so, either. Turned into kind of a crappy afternoon.

i used to ride this trail back in the day all the time, but then they paved part of it, block stuff off, and closed lots of it to bikers. back in the dya it was FULL of some of the most fun riding to be rode in st louis. all kinds of short and sweet chutes, climbs, creak stuff, downhills, and cliffs overlooking the highway, and the soccerpark and chrylser plant. it is cooler than you might think. it WAS cooler. if some of it is still legal to bike on, make sure you get there! also, remember that it is pretty easy to get lost in there, but you are never too far from wher you started.

I have rode here and it is a very good track. Nice steep inclines, rock and dirt track. I have here several times with no trouble. In MO we need more tracks and this is a good one for mountain biking.
