Trail Description:
Mountain biking is a popular daily event at Seven Oaks and "is some of the best technical and challenging riding in central Iowa" (Des Moines Register May 29, 1999). Seven Oaks hosted the first ever Iowa Games Mountain Biking Competition in 1998 and again in 1999. In other words, you'll have fun!
How to get there:
4 miles west of Boone IA on HWY 30. It's hard to miss.
Additional Notes:
Camping available on site.

The trail has grown to 7.2 miles in the last few years. Plenty of technical singletrack that is relentless in the sense it never lets you rest. Good times!

This is without a doubt some of the best riding in Iowa. The trails when dry are fast, but technical. A great time if you've got the skills

Decent technical trails, I rode them in the Iowa Games of 2000. The area has surprisingly few trails considering how much wooded terrain you can see from the roads. I'd like to see some local clubs construct and make better use out of the land around Boone.
