Duration: not specified.
Elevation Gain: 30 Feet (9 Meters)

Trail Description:
Sand, sand, sand, sand. Overgrown singletrack. It can also get wet in here. It's generally flat with a lot of whoop-de-do's in spots. Climbs are absolutely minimal. This is a winter ride only. The sand and ticks in the summer are bad here.

How to get there:
Garden State Parkway south to exit 79. Stay left once on the exit (it splits). At the "T" make a left. Follow this to the end, about 3 miles and at the stop sign you will see the entrance to the park straight ahead. Park on the right after the entrance and bike on the dirt roads through the cranberry bogs to the hidden singletrack.

Additional Notes:
Don't even think of cleaning up the overgrowth on the trails. The park department here says NO!

To answer Glenn Walters question below, the park is located off Double Trouble Road in Berkeley Twp. From the GSP, take exit 74 east into Lacey, make a left on Manchester Ave. and another left at the first light onto Western Blvd. Take Western past the middle schooland make a left at the first stop sign onto Double Trouble Road, go past Central Regional High School and under the Parkway. Side note...I think there may be a relatively new exit off the GSP that puts you right onto Double Trouble Road. The park is located on the left. Park in the parking lot as soon as you enter the park. The trails head out in every direction from there. If you take a right leaving the parking lot, it will lead you on a trail for a couple of miles to a nice dam on Cedar Creek. Your best bet for longer trails is to head straight from the lot, pass the old mill on your left and starting turning from there. In general, its easier to string together several trails if you head to the left, but these tr

I grew up in Lacey and have walked my dog on these trails for years. I have also ridden my bike there some, but its not set up for real mountain biking. There are probably 20 miles of trails if you connect several loops, but its more for people just learning how to ride a bike or people with young children that want to introduce the youngins' to nature. Don't go here if you're looking for excitement, hills, roots, rocks, hardpacked singletrack, etc.

I was just wondering where this guy got his info, or if he could describe where the trail is?. I am interested in the 20 trail for biking and running. I called there and they said no such trail exists.

Flat, Flat, Flat. Perfect for beginners. Great area to see wildlife. Most trails border the cranberry bogs with little tree cover. Some trails are in the wooded areas with little terain change. GREAT swimming hole under the cement bridge. Historic working cranberry farm village too.
