I believe you have been here before. And, you are welcome to ride here any time you'd like.
The trails are still here and I just finished adding some new features. Right now the Main trails have been cleaned and are in good shape. All the trails across the road are closed.

Got Ya, Amanda. See you in Colo.
For the rest of you out there, Tar River is basicly closed. There have been no requests to ride, no support from local riders. No intrest means no trails. And, everybody looses.
I will be giving up the lease on the property and leaving NC.

Things have gone through some changes. I'm still going build some more freeride stunts and probably add to the XC.
All rides will be by appointment only.

Hats off to the TRAILMASTER!!! This place rocks...a little of the north shore right here in NC. It has it all, stunts, skinnies, a couple kicka$$ hucks and drop with some super creative work with the natural terrain. Bring the big bike and hit the playground or bring the HT and ride the twisty, tight technical single track....you just cant go wrong wit TAR!!!!

You GOT to love these trails. Tar River Has it ALL. More Challanging than New Light, Dunn Rd or Chapel Hill. And, way more fun.
