Canyon Lake

Trail Description:
This is an extremely easy ride on a paved bike path. The main trail circles the lake, with some othe spur trails. Not a true mountain bike ride, but still a pleasant day.

How to get there:
The trail is in the center of Rapid City. There are several parking lots along the trail so just look for the bikers and park.

I look forward to riding some nice mt. bike trails. I'll be in SD in July. Maybe we can get a bunch of people together and ride.

As Royce said, this is not a mtb trail. It is city sidewalk through winding it's way through different Rapid City parks. It's an ok place to teach your kid to learn how to ride a bike, but no more than that.

This is not a mtb trail.For info on real trails in Rapid City go to ACME bikeshop.They are on the corner of Canyon Lake Drive and Hwy 44.They are the only shop in town for the real bikers.Ask these boys for the skinny on all the trails near and in town.
