Someone needs to combine the two Sweetwater trail reviews, and yes, horses did trash the trail after a rainfall a couple years ago when the surface was tacky - hard to believe but animals weighing in at a few hundred lbs with metal footwear can damage a trail when ridden irresponsibly - why so incredulous?

Dissapointing ride. They are building the highway making the trail confusing. The trails have been abused by horseback riders and it is on one of the approaches for the airport in San Diego.
