Trail Description:
Great climb to a ridge and a crazy technical downhill. Classic Canadian Rockies terrain. Grizzly, cougar etc tracks travel in the areas.

How to get there:
From Canmore head east towards Calgary. Turn onto 40 to Kananaskis village. Then turn on 68 to Sibbald Creek trail. Just before it turns into pavement you turn to right onto Powderface trail(gravel) park at trailhead and read map.

Additional Notes:
Take water you'll need it! Repair kit etc.

it was a long hall up but the down hill was worth it all.i did this ride at the end of last season 05 and found alot of snow in places and it slowed down the ride alot.ask for conditions at the local shop before you start your climb.good punshing ride will go back in 06.

ATTENTION!! Your Alberta "must ride" list has to include this trail. End of story.

Try 80% single track! And mondo elevation gain and some wicked downhills (especially if you do Cox Hill south to north.)
