As my name suggests, I'm not nearly as thrilled with Mercer as some of the other reviewers. It is god-awful flat, with the exception of the section to the right of the marina, and really rooty on the other side of the lake. I'd classify it has having almost no topography. there are some fun log piles to the left of the main parking area, but all in all, its not too technical and not too exciting. If you live close enough to Mercer, go to Clayton instead. the trail isn't as long, but there's way more elevation.

I dig Mercer a good bit. I try to get there a few days a week. The trails are both easy and hard (depending on how you ride). You can do a rather larger loop of 15+ miles (I have done 23 one day) where you will not hit much of the same trails. The trails/obstacles are well maintained by S.M.A.R.T. (mercertrails.org), as well as other independent people trying to make sure the trails are always at their best. I am up for riding there a lot, and am always up for going with some others. If you want to ride go to my site (carabs.com) and contact me.

Well, i loved the place and I would of gave it a 5. But unfortunately I took a bad spill and broke my femur. The thing was sticking out about 5 inches and i was stranded there for about 30 minutes groaning like a horse. But other then that, the trails are good and has some good technical stuff.

so i just bought a mountain bike, so i am definitely a beginner, but i truly LOVED biking at this park. there seem to be lots of trails and areas, each with a little bit of a different feel. there are beginner level areas (just to the left of the marina) that have simple logs and some tight turns, good for a beginner to learn how to handle a bike. then there are some "medium level" areas along the water by the reservoir. there are small hills and good log piles here. i'd say suitable for an advanced beginner. then there is an area on the other side of the park (past the tennis courts and across the lake/stream) that seems to be a little more challenging. i've gone 5 times now, about an hour or two each time, and i continue to find new and enjoyable areas. it's probably a bit flat for people who like huge climbs and descents, but for me, for right now, it's perfect...

O my god this place was so sweet i ride at core creek in newtown Pa and it was just not big enough. It was so nasty, the only thing i was wondering if anyone new if they had any trail maps b/c that would be so sweet to see all the trails there. From the looks of the place its big and looking at the miles this place has it is really big. If anyone has a trail map or knows where i can get one please leave a comment on it

the trails at mercer county park are awsome. im there almost everyweekend in the spring and summer. there are some trails that are prety good, but they're really flat, like the trail with the logg piles. the other side of the lake is really good though, there are alot of single track trails that are alot of fun, and they are mostly down hill so you get lots of speed. there are alos a alot of really good jumps on some of the trails. great for beginners, and very expirenced riders.
