Trail Description:
The park isn't that big but it is tons of fun. Lots of single track and some wider dirt roads. The paved bike trail that runs through Crystal Lake, Algonquin, etc... runs right through the park so if you can't handle the dirt, play on this.

How to get there:
It is right off route 176, east of route 14. Turn off when you see the brown sign for the nature center.

I ride here alot. Some trails/hills are washed out but there better then they were last year. There are alot of off shots that are really fun, theres a great 30ft drop way in back in the woods. Theres also roots, stumps, gravel, and even people walking so most of the trails keep you on your toes. There is alos 1 trial that is a little up and down that you can just fly on through the woods and about 12 trails spawn off of that one so its cool to ride there all day. We are kinda limited to where we can ride hard in this area.

This place has got some short but technical downs that put a little scare in you. You need to know where to look for these trails. From the actual park they are located in a forest preserved on the other side of power lines. It rocks for being only in crystal lake.

the dirt trails stink. Very pore Maintenance...I'm wondering where my Park District tax dollars are going. Some hills unrideable, very loose gravel, hills washed out. SAD. I recommend Kettle Moraine or Moraine Hills Stat Park.
