Trail Description:
This trail you can either take the loop which will include about 1 1/2 hrs of moderate cimbing, or you can start off with a warm up climb then a nice fast downhill to trail #40 which will then lead to another 5 minute climb, then almost all downhill from there. You'll cross Waddell Creek and get a nice cool down. When you finish you'll end up at Middle Waddell Trailhead which is right off of Waddell Cr.Rd. I definately suggest that you either take two vehicles, leave one at the trailhed mentioned above, or have "The Peak" bike shop shuttle you there.

Only nag,, the forest managemnt people buried a lot of bricks in the hairy parts to occomodate the rv riders, so it's a little bumpy at times. Then again it allows you to climb. Nothing an experienced rider coudn't handle well.

How to get there:
Take exit 95 to the town of Littlerock.

Head approximately 3 miles until you come to a stop. Continue on straight past the store veer straight onto 128th and head up the hill. When you come to a "T" at the top of the hill, take a right. you will now be on Waddell Cr. Rd..In about another 4 mi you'll come to another intersection. Take left!! In about another mile and a half you will pass Noshka Rd on the right, and the paved road will end. Now you are on C-Line and have about another 15 minute drive. Note: This is when you'll need to get your Capital St. Forest map out.(You can pick one up at the post office in Littlerock). Then you'll head

up C-4000 about another 3 miles. That's about it.

I live in Oly and it is really nice to have this baby right in my backyard. If you are in the area I would definatley reccomend checking out Capitol Forrest.

Grades 4-5 vertical slopes with plenty root ledges to navigate; this trail is one of my all time favorites with breathtaking veiws of the NW volcanic mountains. Out and back 2-2.5 hrs...Ride this one!
