Devil's Hopyard State Park

Trail Description:
This trail is great for beginner and Intermediates. However its not all riding there are small areas where you have to carry your bike. For example very rocky areas, and hopping stones across the river. Other then that its a great and fun ride, with some areas with gravity to defy.

How to get there:
Take Route 9 from middletown into east haddam/Moodus. Then just ollow the signs for Devil's Hopyard State Park.

Took my two teenage boys to devil's hopyard. green trail almost impossible to find, blocked by a fallen tree and not good for kids. Other trails difficult. no maps or help at site or people who knew anything. compared to biking in the white mountains, this place was a complete waste of time.

agreed the most peacefull techincal park in ct the views in to the vally off one trail is a great place to take a break good places to swim and awsome places to bike

I love Devil's Hopyard. I live right down the road. It's good for bikes, plus you can go fishing and stuff. The ride down from the vista is cool, and just hanging at the vista is cool and climbing down it too, on the steep side. Devil's Hopyard is a nice relaxing place.
