Really great trails!! Tough uphills with plenty of roots/rocks to jam over. Great downhill runs to reward hard uphill work too! Tricky swithbacks and some good drop-offs/jumps -- definite air opportunities! Never crowded. I lived in Hamden for a long time. Rode here solid for about 4 years. In that time I think I've encountered maybe 4 or 5 other people on the trails. You really feel like you've left civilization. It's cool! But bring a cell phone in case you wipe and need help! Want a kill your lungs-n-legs climb? Try the trail that starts at far left-hand corner of the parking lot. After you pass the little picnic huts, it's like straight up for about 1/8 mile. Tough!!!

Great ride! tons of rocks, several logs, powerline trail a must. Some difficult hills. Be sure to hang a right down the rollercoaster hill at the top of the ridge/main trail.

Brooksvale is a great place to ride. Difficult terrain, lots of mud, rocks and hills. Its not as big as Supply Pond but the trails go off in every direction. To get there, pull into Brooksvale Park and head up the paved road to the trail entrance. Watch out for horses and ATV's!

pretty nice ride here. a mixture of good climbs, single track, winding downhills, a set of power lines to bomb down, some nice, slower riding, technicals, up and down hill. Definitley for the rider looking to have a good steady ride, not to many wide open trails, which is good. doesn't seem to be a very populated ride either, I tend to see 3-4 riders at most when there.
