Trail Description:
Milaca's trails are arguably the best in Minnesota. The single track multiple loop trail system has something that can challenge all levels. The scenery is great with occasional sightings of unique wildlife possible.

How to get there:
Milaca is located in central Minnesota. From the north or south, take Highway #169, from the east or west, Highway #23 will get you there. The trail begins in Recreation Park which is at the end of 2nd street NW. Ride up onto the ridge, through the gate, across the cemetary road and turn right onto a gravel driveway for about two hundred meters. You will see a sign that says "Dead Mans Run". This is the beginning of the trail and can be easily followed from this point.

Best in MN! Well maintained. Great rock and root trails and elevation change along with some good scenery

This trail is The best I've been on in MN. I would definitely recommend it. You'll want to do the whole 15 miles over and over! Just watch out for the Bog Monster in early spring. I here he gets really hungry that time of year.

Easy singletrack warms you up for the adventures ahead...some technical roots and rocks lead into a very well built section of narrow singletrack with lots of twist and turns and the log bridges are just awesome! Ending with nice tasty hillclimbs. Plan to ride for hours cause you will not want stop at 1 loop. Ride till ya bonk man! NICE JOB to whoever built and designed this! Remember to help maintain this trail system as you ride... Lets keep it alive!

I live in Maryland, but I rode this trail in August with a buddy of mine. This place was a BLAST! It features a lot of twisty singletrack with lots of log crossings and some great switchbacks. The trails were well maintained and easy to follow. I'll go again next time I'm home.
