Trail Description:
There are lots of trails here making it easy to find the right trail for you. Be careful though. If you're a beginner, it is easy to get in over your head very quickly.

How to get there:
Drive out the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and watch for the sign.

This is my favorite bike area near Anchorage. The only problem is that trails are on city, state park and university property and there is no single map that covers all of the property owners.

Access from Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. is at Loma Prieta Rd; follow signs for Crevasse Moraine Trails. Approx. 30 miles of trails in 4 sq. mile area; much is 2 track. Expect to get lost; lots of loops to be done around lakes that all look alike. Stay on tractor roads when passing thru Ex. Farm fields. Join the Valley Mt. Bike Assoc. (@ Wildfire Cycles in Palmer). Best singletrack is east of Long Lake connector trail. Some of the most challenging technical track riding in AK!

No sign on Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Better ask a local.Wide main trail and technical side trails. Lots of short steep hills.
