Snake Mountain Summit

Trail Description:
Great trail to an awesome overlook of the champlain valley. The trail has a moderate to easy slope for the first half of the climb and then it turns to a rocky, ledgy technical challenge. This is a very ridable trail and a lotof fun. There are many other trails to ride once you are up there. This trail area is shared with many other types of recreations like horseback riding, hiking, running, bird watchers ad so-on, so ride in control and please don't tear it up.

How to get there:
Off of route 22A south take route 17 east, after one mile turn right onto mountain road, go about 2 miles down till you get to a parking lot on the righthand or west side of mountain road. Park there. The number of cars in the parking lot is a good indicator of how many people and dogs are up there. The trail head is another 300 feet south on mountain road. Enjoy.
