Erie Canal / Cayuga County Trail system

Trail Description:
Part of the Erie Canal towpath. Extends from Buffalo to Albany (never went that far). The section I ride between Jordan and Port Byron through Weedsport is mostly flat with extremely scenic views and minor offshoot snowmobile trails branching off.

How to get there:
NYS Thruway to exit 40. Right on Rt 34 South into Weedsport. Right at light on Rt 31. Travel roughly 3 miles untill you come to Centerpoint Aquaduct on left. It's a small county park with a parking lot.

Additional Notes:
This is the middle of the trail. Trail from there takes you to Port Byron.

This no longer single track. It has been heavily graveled. they took all of the fun out.
