Ride Summary:
Views and Norther Cal singletrack!
Trail Description:
From the Five Brooks parking lot, go left onto the Olema Valley Trail. Ignore any spur trails and stay on the Olema Valley Trail. At three miles there will be a trail to the left. If you take this, it will cut your ride considerably. Stay right and follow the Olema Valley trail another three miles to the end at HWY 1. Turn around here or take the highway back to your car. This trail offers great views, two stream crossings and some ripping fun singletrack.
How to get there:
From San Francisco go North on 101 across the Golden Gate bridge and take the Stinson Beach Exit. Take HWY 1 past Stinson and continue past Dogtown. About three miles after Dogtown is Five Brooks. Turn left into the parking lot.
Additional Notes:
This trail is shared with hikers and horses so keep an eye out. Also poison oak and nettles are abundant.

This used to be a great singletrack but the rangers went crazy with a bulldozer and viciously bladed it out of existence. Mostly they justified this action by saying there was too much storm damage. It may recover some of it's narrowness as time heals it's wounds, especially on the parts between Randall and McCurty cutoffs. But, the rangers need to know we want our singletrack back!!! Two stars for the trail - one star for the rangers doing a quick and dirty job.
