Trail Description:
The Tree Farm is a true Northwest gem. The area is criss-crossed with fire roads connecting the miles and miles of singletrack. Though the beauty of it is you will hardly have to touch the fire roads at all if you don't want to. Throughout the area there is narrow, twisting singletrack that parallels the roads. It will take you several trips to fully explore this area. Also if you explore enough, you will come across a large metal sculpture in the middle of nowhere with a spectacular view of Lake McMurray.

Many of the trails are closed from November 1st through May 1st because the trails don't do well during our wet winter months. The dirt roads are open year round.

How to get there:
From Everett go North On I-5. Exit 215 (300th Street). Turn right onto 300th Street.

Option 1

Follow 300th for about 6 miles to its end. You'll see a gate to the left with a trail skirting around to the left of that. This is where the trail begins. There is no parking here so head back on 300th to the intersection and park there.

Option 2

Follow 300th street for about .7 miles then turn left onto English GR Rd. After 1.2 miles on English GR Rd, turn right onto 316th St. NW. Then after 1.7 more miles, turn left onto 3rd Ave. NE up a gravel road and park at the top by the gate. (Parking here provides less climbing than option 1.

Trails have finally dried out and are are extremely fast compact dirt. All the sun has caused rapid growth of vegetation in some spots probably could use some machete action. Watch out for horses in the enchanted forest leading out to monument as well as horse do do.

Is the trail open this weekend? Weather has been good and it supposedly stays open until Nov 1st.

Awesome trials, coming down hill on the single track is the best, trials for all skill levels

I've read something about a bunch of trails called 'smackdown' in this area, but all the comments i find are pretty old. Does this area still exist, and if so, how do I get there from the tree farm? Are there any mountain bike only trails left up here?

rode there today. dry clean trails. couple blocked trails by blow down. overall things looked great.

please respect the seasonal trail closures. they are there for a reason and need to be respected in order to keep the trail system open for our mountain biking enjoyment.
