This was the 1st time I had been on a bike in 10 years, and the workout of the 12 mile course is phenomenal! Some Parts are brutal but worth it, me and my boss were both beginners and finished the 12 mi. I will go back... the fat girl at the front entrance was a snob tho

I Thought this was an excellent trail. Even the 2.5 mile loop was pretty tricky at times. The 7 and 10 mile loops are even better, with more hills, turns, etc.

This was the first time I used my mountain bike and I took another beginner friend. We conquered the 10 mile trail but it wasn't easy. I recommend you try this trail and get a view of the lake!

A great trail to "condition" yourself on. As mentioned by Stokes it is very hot in the summer. "ozone days" in DFW are not good days for biking so be careful.

This trail is not for beginners. It has been mentioned as the likely venue for the 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike race should Dallas host the summer games.

If you have a mtn mentality don't go anywhere near DFW, the traffic is horrendous. Much better places would be Cleburne SP or Dinosaur Valley SP but don't go anywhere near DFW on your way or your day will be ruined.

NOT AN EASY RIDE!!!!Hold on for a great ride. 2.5 beginners is not easy. the rest is Dif. with plenty of places to Biff.

I have been riding this course for a few years and it is an AWESOME course! However, it is not at all a beginner course. The expert loop has a lot of roots and tight corners which add to the level of fun. Try it! You'll like it!
