Trail Description:
This is a relatively easy trail though not necessarily suited for the true beginner. This is singletrack so it does require some skill. There is minimal elevation gain and only moderate technical sections.

How to get there:
From Potlach go South on Hwy 101. Turn right after the Skokomish bridge onto the first major road. After 7 miles turn right onto FS#23 to the Brown Creek Campground. From the campground follow FS#2394. You will cross a bridge and .25 miles past the bridge on the left is the trailhead.

Could be good but many trees down. I optimistically waded through the first but by the third ... bush whacking, not riding.

This is a great intermediate ride with much variety and good scenery. You will see hikers in the first couple miles, but probably no one else farther out. There are some steep but not long hills, and few miles of fast, flat and very narrow single track which will remind one of the lower parts of the McKenzie River trail. About 7 miles out you will descend to the river and a large deadfall. The trail beyond looks like good riding if it ever gets cleared. Unfortunately, it has deadfalls every hundered yards. Even so, it is still worth doing.
