To set the record straight, there are roughly 55 miles of trails, and any dirt road you find is for trucks or other vehicles the park rangers use since this is a State Park. The trails are beginner to advanced and offer excellent single track. If the politicians could keep water in the lake, it would be more fun for campers.. "keep Angelo backwards" as they say. If you are looking for a bike shop, Bike Pro is owned by a bunch of criminals; yes, the infamous Ronnie as commented above, obviously from someone that works there. Anyway, these trails are well worth the ride for avid mountain bikers, but stay wary of rattlesnakes as it is very common to see one or more during a ride.

This is a pretty cool trail for all types. It confusing and the park "map" is just a poor guess at best so if you have gps bring it just for fun. The trafic is somewhat heavy in the warmer months so camp out if you like and brink your Kayak too! Spend some time and money at our local bars as well. Bike Pro is still here and taking names. Ronnie can hook you up with anything you need. Call them and I will show you the way!
