Distance: 8.00 miles (12.87 KM)
Duration: Under One Hour

Ride Summary:
A short fun single track loop through the cacti.

Trail Description:
The entire loop is in wash area making sure that it is never flat. The climbs are short but intense. The terrain rolls up and down. And up and down. An up and down.

How to get there:
From Wichita Falls, take Highway 82 to the Citgo station. Park here. It's right next to the Tanglewood housing area entrance. Look for a trail along 82 that heads back to WF. About an 1/8th mile in on the left the trail begins. There are several trails and loops to ride. Best to go with a local who knows the area the first time.

Additional Notes:
Use slime in your tires as there are lots of cacti. As always be respectful of private property.

this could be a good trail but its very over grown. we got about .5 miles into it and had to turn around because the mesquite trees were killing us. to find it follow the directions on the page and the trail head is by a billboard and the citgo station is now closed.

I was there for the Hotter n Hell in August and the trail is open. It's a fun trail with a few narrow and technical sections; most of the trail is very fast, open single track.
