Trail Description:
Okay so its not really a trail, but it is like a local biker's hang out. There is a hill (very very small) wich leads to a BMX type track. There are also many trails back in the woods for people who want to go alone. There is no need to have a guide b/c you can usually find your way out by going one direction untill you hit the highway (thats 24 highway). Okay if you want the lowdown this trail sucks. However, its the only us local kids had to do around that neighborhood. The "trail" is owned by a farmer who decided to be nice enough to let us ride our MTB's on the unfarmable property. If you can find locals who have been around for a while you can find the woods that he does not let us ride in.
Unfortunatley urban development has taken away a little of the trail and unless we can do something in another 10 years I think it'll be gone.
How to get there:
Go down Missouri highway 24 from Independence going as if you were going to buckner. You will find a street called Salem there's a Little General and a Baptist Church at this Cross Street. You then turn left and at the first street turn left. Go down rightpast all the duplexes and turn on the first on the left. You're there you should see a little trail leading to the BMX type track that I mentioned earlier. All the other trails are easy to find. There are many "hidden trails" here. You'll have fun just trying to find them.

This is a field and there is also a neighborhood going up here. Were cool trails about 20 years ago.
