This is a great trail. I just went yesterday and somebody added a bunch of track. There's even a log ride going off of an old barn! I rode almost 8 miles and didn't hardly repeat any sections, plus there's some that I remember from before that I didn't hit, so there's definitely some new track. A great ride if you're in the area and have a couple of hours.

This is a fun ride. It does have a lot of rocks and roots. There are so many different ways you can go. There are several good jump and a really good down hill at the end of the trail if you go clockwise.

I think Lake Leatherwood is by far exquisite, though NOTHING compares to the Rocky Mountains! Sac gave me my first visible scar, a nice gash on the arm from a rainy day. The guys treat me nice, being a woman and all, but they have no idea how rough and tough I am.....IŽd put them to shame and think sac is a good PRACTICE course

This made for an enjoyable afternoon of riding. Good for novice riders to build some skills and for more experienced riders to ride really fast on. Nothing very technical, but there was one three foot drop-off in the middle of a downhill section that my friends and I went back and rode a half dozen times during our ride. If I lived in Springfield, I would ride this often, but it is not really worth too long of a drive.

sweet trail to ride i agree with all but make sure it hasn't rained for a little while. Trails are all in woods so take while to dry after a good rain.

I live in Springfield and I frequent this trail once a week. If you get a chance to come over, try to stay on the outer ring of this trail and you will experience some serious but fun down hills. Maintenance on this trail is excellent. Good job!

I've been riding the Sac for the past two years and ive had a blast every time i ride. It seems like every time i go i find a new route to take that leads me to killer downhills and awesome natrual jumps. Recently someone has added some freeriding practice sections at the beginning of the trail. Props to them, its been a real help in developing balance skills. When u get there, take a left and follow the outside loop for a good mix of uphills and downhills with a massive downhill section at the end, its a blast, and a welcome sight to sore legs. Take any of the inside loops for a new experience each time.

I used to live in springfield and visited this trail often. Make sure to take a tire kit along as there are a lot of sharp rocks. The trail by the river is the best, and if you are adventureous, you can find the trail that goes through the middle of a creek. Lots of good stuff for the hard core rider. Wish I lived there again....
