Trail Description:
Mostly rolling Singletrack trails through beautiful Pine and Oak forest past ponds, scuttleholes, and some historic sites. Some road riding is necessary to complete the loop, as well as some double track trails and woods roads. The trail does cross private property and close to some homes so mind the trail and the alternate cycling route bypass on Northwest Path.
How to get there:
Take the Long Island Expressway east to exit 70, take 111 south to Sunrise Highway (rt. 27), take 27 east to Wainscott (in the township of East Hampton), make a left onto Daniels Hole Road (Wainscott Northwest Road) to rt. 114, make right onto 114, go 1/4 mile, park on left side of road by dirt road and trail-head signs
Additional Notes:
Get the Ride Guide maps from local bike shops. Bikehampton in Sag Harbor Village has them.

Lots of great and tight single track..The rocks, exposed roots, sand, fallen trees and steep climbs are enough to kick your butt..Well worth the trip...I went on a weekday and my only company were a few deer and other assorted wildlife...

This trai was a good work out. You can take the single track loop from the dirt road on the right side of rt 114. That trail is about 14 miles long with lots of tight singletrack with some steep climbs. Keep riding!
