Trail Description:
Extremely tough and rugged, stay on blue trail, is a hiking trail at times but is open to bikes. There is a field at the end of the rooty downhill at the bottom and there are a few creek crossings. The downhill is very rooty at the end there is a washout that you need to steer clear of.
How to get there:
In the main entrance to pisgah Brevard, go ask the bike shop or go to the forest ranger station which has maps that can offer assistance finding numerous trails

This trail is pretty intense. I found the ride down very rewarding though. You got to be in great shape to tackle Cove Creek.

Very good trail, Is rated masochist because there is a way to take a hiking trail to the top that is not the main trail. More fun but some parts are unridable, and could take a long time to get to the top. Do the singletrack the whole way to get a real challenge

Difficulty rating is way off. It is definitely an intermediate trail based on the detailed descriptions of skill levels. But it's a great ride. Best when taking the single track up and the forest road back down. You can stretch this one out by parking at the fish hatchery.

Awesome Trail. Cove creek involves a technical downhill and should be good fun for any intermediate-advanced rider. The end of the trail is a blast with a downhill trail with a series of dips providing serious air!
