Nisene Marks

Trail Description:
Great fun riding in the Redwoods. Plenty of good climbing here, and you won't get to torched by the sun, which is what I like.

How to get there:
highway 17 / 1 to aptos, exit park blvd. head south / east and look for Aptos Village. park and ride up the Nisene Marks park entrance.

Start at the quarry and climb for 6.5 miles turn around and bomb down the hill. All fire roads but some are 4 wheel drive steep. This place is next to the killer Soquel Demonstration Forest which will make your round trip a 20 miler and 4000 ft of climbing
