How to get there:
Haleiwa: From Honolulu, take H-1 to H-2 and head towards Wahiawa town. From Wahiawa, go down Kamehameha Hwy to Haleiwa/Mokuleia. Keep going through Mokuleia until the road stops. Dirt parking lot to the right.

Waianae: From Honolulu, H-1 to Waianae. The H-1 will transform to Kamehameha Hwy. Keep going until you end up at Yokohama Beach Park. Park there and kill the trail!

Additional Notes:
Excellent trail for everyone. Be careful to lock your car doors in the Waianae trail head.

Went in early April. Pretty open despite the 4 Wheel Drives going, but totally worth it considering the scenery! Can totally be as difficult as you want it to be. There's a pretty steep climb once you reach the point, much more fun on the way back down.

Coming from Haleiwa side its a great ride. You may have to compete with some trucks playing in the mud on the way to the trail head if it's recently rained. Unfortunately you cannot ride all the way to other side anymore. Mother nature at her best took a piece of the trail back into the ocean. There is a tiny foot trail that goes the the rest of the trail but thats a bout it. If you go up that side after a heavy rain then it's a great time to go play in the mud.
