Trail Description:
Pretty easy wide trail on the way up, easy on a cool day. Pretty easy and fast after that, but not when you are riding with beginner losers that think they are all that.... yeah thats you Tyler and Matt.
Good for a morning ride.
How to get there:
Coming in throught the Coqhihala highway, go into town, and turn right (opposite of pacific way) and follow the road until the 2nd 4 way, turn left, and head straight until you see the sign for Kenna Cartwright Park.
Additional Notes:
XC mostly, some DH riding.

Man I agree with DeVinci, I haven't lived in Kamloops in about 5 years and i miss all above rides... had many wipeouts on Dufferin, nice views from the station at the top.... Petersen Creek singletracks r wicked, but not 4 the beginner....

I use to live in Kamloops and rode this one on a frequent basis. Not huge altitude for the downhiller enthusiast use to whistler, but it's a nice slow steady burn in the quads if you go bottom to top - if you make it all the way to the weather station at the top without stopping, you're a champ! East side approach I find is the steapest challenge. Watch out for Bears and porcupines as my dog has lured a couple out into the open on occasion - nothing serious, but keep your eyes open for the wildlife, especially bear cubs as they have cut me off a few times already. If you make tracks down the west behind the north side of the Coquihala, there's some nice cross country riding - take your time and enjoy. Kamloops is heaven for Mtn. biking and I miss it dearly. Also, checkout the knutsford area - some nice country roads for the cross country riders too. Peterson Creek has some good riding there too - don't know if it has been closed off since I moved, but it's worth in
