Trail Description:
There is some fairly wide dual track thats pretty sandy. And fairly technical single track, that has several switchbacks. There are also a lot of large roots as well.
How to get there:
Take exit 84 and exit east onto state road 44 east. Head east .3 miles. Turn left onto Sugar Mill Rd. follow it all the way to Pioneer Trail. Turn Left onto Pioneer Trail to just before the I-95 over pass. Turn right onto Turnbull Bay Rd. And begin looking on the left for a dirt road called Martins Dairy Rd. Follow the dirt road all the way down. The road deadends at the trails.
Additional Notes:
There is no fee, but MTBer's, horses and hikers all go here. So please be conciderate.

this trail has much improved since those previous, over two year old comments. The spruce creek mountain bike association has done a great job on this trail. There are only a handful of sections with sugar sand. Some trails have been rerouted, and everything is very well marked and there havent been hoof prints or poo on the trails for at least a year! This is a great spot to get some real experience and conditioning. The faster you ride the more fun the trial will be.

Agree with previous - Hoof prints and poo on the singletrack. Had not rained much or any recently. Really super soft in spots and no up and overs or fun stuff of any kind. It didn`t bite but it is way to far of a drive for me to come back!

Update, we are building more trails on the west side of the park and are working with the county to put up signage to try and stop the horses from the singletrack. If you want more trails join the association and come out for trail days. There is plenty of opportunities on the west side, we just have to do some work.

Could be a great single-track if horses would stay off the trail. Have never rode without having to contend with hoof prints. Won't be back.

I've been riding this trail for about two years now off and on. They have done some great work to it in the past couple of months, definitly shows! The sand a minus, but what can you do, it's Florida. Other than that, some pretty difficult turns and inclines, but all in all, completely do-able for even beginners.

The singletrack is in great shape! Please give thanks to the Spruce Creek MTB Club for their diligent maintenance efforts. Due to erosion, many of the heavily "rooted" sections have been re-routed which makes for a smoother, faster and flowing ride. Best to hit after a solid rain.

Sweet ride, faintly technical in some spots. Beautiful in fall. Good workout to hammer through. Most trails open now.

The trails have been open all summer. Great after a rain. Don't do the dual trails! Stay on the single track for a great ride. Ask a local to show you the way around!
