Trail Description:
Variable, Highly Technical Singletrack through Swamp, Pine/Oak Forest, Fern Hammocks, Palmetto Thickets, and Wetlands. Add to this an added See-Saw, a well-made thin bridge, a "BMX"-like section, and a great group of riders to ride with on Thursday evening. The best on the First Coast, by far!

How to get there:
Go to the intersection of Beach Blvd. and Kernan Road. Park at the Publix parking lot and find the trails, the first 1/8th miles down Kernan going south on the left, next to a fenced water-pump station. There's another trailhead directly across the street, one at the end of Pemberton, and another across Beach Blvd., next to a new fenced-in Nursery. 007 is a bit farther up on Beach Blvd....good luck finding it! Now get off your ass and Ride!

This trail is a bit unmanaged. There is a nearby park located on the beach. It is side to side with the Mayport Naval Station. Kathryn Abbey Hanah Park. Take A1A North and follow the signs to the base. Trail maps are on the internet website. there are 18 miles of trails if you know the park like the back of your hand. Otherwise the usual lap most people ride takes about 2hrs. riding slow.(7miles) Watch out for oncoming riders playing chicken on a deathwish. And there are sneak by passers giving you no heads up warning "RIDER". The course is basically flat. Consists alot of roots. Full suspension recommended. Overall it's a fun ride with lots of turns. The main two loops can be ridden in an hour if cranking it. For a hilly short section head to dolphin plaza parking lot on the left.

Are these trails still here? If so how do I get to them exactly ive tried looking but I have no idea where to go

the trails are still open but you have to know where to go. some are a little overgrown. i can't do all the trailwork myself. some bridges are down right now and supplies are hard to come by way out on the trail

these trail are no more

All the trails have been neglected. You can't even follow some of them. The trail on the nursery side is now a swamp with 6 inches of water over most of it.

This trail was worth the time i spend looking for it.Not that hard after all,you might end up in the four wheelers tracks if you take the wronr turn at Kernan st.Make sure you stay on the same side of Publix and you wont miss it.I thought i was in shape. So if you think Hanna park got you in shape come and text your self on this one.I`ll be coming back for more. And if you ever read this,Roger, thanks for your directions.I`ll give Pedletton a try next time.

Love'em all except 007, cant get enough momnentum up for that. If you can stand the sand on Pemberton, Hammerhead and Rootcanal await, don't worry about the dogs at the trail head, they dont bite.
