Trail Description:
Trails are well maintained but tend to get extremly muddy at times. These trails also have more roots to deal with than any other place in Ohio. If you can look past these two things though you will have a great time on these trails.
How to get there:
From Columbus take 71 north to Polaris Parkway and make a right. Go about 2 miles to Africa Rd. and make a left. Continue north on africa rd. past the dam. Make a right turn on the second road to your right and the trails will be on your left.

This is a good trail with lots of variety. Nothing to wild a hardtail can't ride easily. Fast at times with lots of switchbacks. I rode the Phase II (best loop) 3 times and it has been dry/dusty everytime, except for the fun creek crossing. Few good climbs. Lots of roots in some sections that can get annoying. Overall its a fantastic trail for Central Ohio.

This trail was a lot of fun. We rode the Phase II first then the Phase I. They were both were a blast. It's a very enjoyable ride and quite challenging at times. Even the Phase I had its challenges. It was a little damp out and the many roots on the trail got very slick. Overall a great trail for any skill level.

There is a new 6 mile trail (Phase II) opening this weekend - 10/1/05. It handles water much better and has very challenging sections. COMBO has put many hours into this new trail - come check it out.

Heed the warning about the trail
when it's wet. Just saw this posting 2
days after riding the trail after a rain,
and it was about 30% less enjoyable
due to the mud packed onto brakes
and tires. Can't wait to try it when it's
dry!!!!

4 when it's dry. It's a pain when wet so don't bother you'll just make it worse. But when dry it's a damn good trail. Lot's of technical parts which are easily detoured if you don't feel comfortable. Lot's of unmarked shortcuts so you can make your own combinations. tree rollers, bridges, decsents, log jumps, you get the point. definitly worth your while to check it out.
